Elemental Exiles: Join a cast of unique characters in this Deck Building Roguelike, where you’ll expand your arsenal of abilities to overcome any challenges that stand in the way of your chosen hero’s personal quest 🌟. As you explore the world, you’ll need to adapt to new twists with every playthrough, making each journey a fresh adventure 🎮.
Choose to play as one of 12 unique characters scattered across the map, each armed with a diverse deck of abilities 🃏. Guide them carefully through the world, advancing their personal quests to help them achieve glory—or at least closure. Four characters are unlocked from the start, but eight more are hidden in the world, each with their own unique story for you to discover 📜. Start your journey with one of these intriguing characters:
A naïve Elven warrior still determined to protect the village that exiled them 🌳. An old Dwarven researcher searching for a very specific piece of hidden knowledge 🛠️. A bitter bounty hunter determined to track down her treacherous former partners 🎯. An abandoned young water mage searching for the master who betrayed her 💧.
With each step your character takes, you’ll uncover more of the world around you 🌍. Watch as the vibrant landscape reveals itself, filling in an expansive map that persists across playthroughs. Revisit your favorite places, address unfinished business with new tactics, or forge a completely new path ✨.
When you choose to play a card can be just as important as which card you play 🎴. Cards in Elemental Exiles have additional effects that only trigger under certain conditions—like being the first card played on your turn or following another card of a specific element. Successfully triggering these extra effects can be the difference between victory and defeat, so keep synergies in mind when adding new cards to your deck 🔄.
Most cards are attuned to one of three elements in Elemental Exiles—Fire, Water, or Nature 🔥💧🌿. Each element has its strengths and weaknesses; for instance, Fire actions are strong against Nature but weak against Water. Certain enemies and bosses favor specific elements, so while your Fire deck might easily take down tree spirits in a forest, it could struggle against a horde of water elementals along the coast 🌊. Will you specialize in one element to increase synergy, or take a more balanced approach to minimize weaknesses?
You’ll have 12 unlockable characters in Elemental Exiles, each starting in a different location on the world map with their own personal quest and starting deck 🎒. Explore a massive world with over 200 unique locations, where most encounters change between playthroughs, but knowledge of key routes and boss locations will be preserved 🗺️. Engage in challenging tactical battles with over 300 unique scenarios, each requiring a different approach to overcome ⚔️.
Intriguing narrative events in Elemental Exiles that will have you making choices that could significantly affect your deck, for better or worse 🎭. Some events might reward you with a blessing that reduces the cost of certain cards for several battles, or curse you with an effect that does the opposite 🔮. Inventory items like potions or bombs can be stored and used during battles to give you an edge when you need it most 💣. You can relax and stock up at one of 14 unique inns hidden throughout the world, spending your hard-earned gold on new cards, items, and blessings 🛏️.
Dynamic deck building in Elemental Exiles mean that each battle or event could give you the chance to add a new card to your ever-changing deck 🛠️. But be mindful—your cards wear down with each use before being permanently lost, so you’ll need to constantly update your deck and adapt your tactics to survive and thrive in this ever-shifting world 💥.
